Registration is now open for the Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon 2009!
Over the 15-year history of what is regarded as Australia’s premier half marathon the entrants have covered a staggering one million, four hundred and thirty-four thousand and eight hundred kilometres if you were to multiply the distance covered and the number of enrolments.

Wollongong council is introducing a licence fee for fitness operators in the city’s public parks and beaches.
Under the licensing structure, commercial fitness groups would be limited to 18 participants per instructor and operators will be assigned specific areas and times for use.
