Urban MAX – Entries open

Do you love the Amazing Race? Do you enjoy the challenge of solving clues, navigating your way around the CBD and completing weird and wacky challenges? Then this event is for you.
Back for the seventh year, the Sydney Urban Max is Australia’s biggest urban adventure race and will feature over 400 teams competing for the title of Australia’s Urban Champions. Teams have the opportunity to race in the social or racing categories depending on how competitive you want to be – we guarantee it will be the most fun you will have exploring the streets of Sydney. Entries for the Sydney Urban Max are now open, get in early to take advantage of the early bird special.
Supporting CanTeen and kids living with cancer
This year the Sydney Urban Max are supporting CanTeen, a charity that runs over 250 support programs across Australia every year to help12-24 year olds deal with the emotional, physical and practical issues of living with cancer, and take back control of their lives. These programs deliver vital psychosocial support and connect young people going through similar experiences.
In addition to these programs, CanTeen provides counselling, and develops practical resources including an award winning website www.nowwhat.org.au, and books and DVDs full of tips and advice. CanTeen also carries out research into the needs of young people living with cancer and advocates for better health services.
