On 8th June 2009 (Queen’s Birthday), members of the Equinox Oxfam Trailwalker did a training walk along the Coastal Walk, from Bundeena to Otford.
The journey began with a train ride to Cronulla, followed by a ferry to Bundeena.
It was supposed to be a 27km walk, however we got a little off course and ended up doing 32.7km.
This year, we have a member from Wollongong Fitness taking part in the Oxfam Trailwalker
Oxfam Trailwalker is the world’s greatest team challenge. And it’s also one of the toughest. The challenge is to get a team of four across 100km of Australian bush in less than 48 hours – and to raise at least $1,000 to help to overcome poverty and suffering around the world.
