Are you fit enough to join the US Army?
Soldiers are required to take this Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) twice a year and there are 3 components to it.
Push-ups
Number of pushs in 2 minutes
Situps
Number of sit ups in 2 minutes
2 mile or 3.2km run
Time taken to run the distance
The tests have to be completed in that order with no more than 20mins of rest between each event.
For each event, a score is awarded and soldiers are required to score a minimum of 60 for each event.
