The Wollongong to Thirroul is a 15km bike track that follows the coast, starting from Belmore Basin (to the west of the Levendi cafe) to Thirroul.

It’s one of the best places for running and cycling in Wollongong.

For the first 1km from Belmore Basin to the North Beach Surf Club or Diggies, the lane is divided two walking/running and cycling (with the walkers/runners’ lane being closest to the beach). From North Beach onwards to Thirroul, the track is then divided by traveling direction -with everyone keeping to the left side of the track.

The Bike Track is also marked out at every 500m intervals with either a yellow line or a yellow-blue-yellow line on the side of the track furthest from the beach.

Google Map of Bike Path

We did a run along the bike path starting from North Beach to the end of the bike path and back and used a GPS to mapped out the run. The Google map of the bike path is available at http://wollongongfitness.com/main/bike-track-map/
