After celebrating a 10 year landmark in 2010, the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival returns on Sunday 18 September 2011.

Considered to be one of Australia’s most spectacular running festivals with an exhilarating traffic free crossing of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and finish at the majestic Sydney Opera House, this flagship event sees over 35,000 people of all abilities congregate in Sydney on event day.

Join in the fun of the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival on Sunday 18 September and enjoy Australia’s most scenic course. All four events start in Bradfield Park, Milson’s Point travel over the main deck of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and finish at the Sydney Opera House.

There’s the usual Marathon, Half Marathon, Bridge Run and Family Fun Run catering for runners of all levels!

New online training tools

There is a further exciting buzz around this year’s event. All 2011 Blackmores Sydney Marathon and Blackmores Half Marathon participants will have the opportunity to train with Australia’s leading marathon runner and Olympic legend, Lee Troop. Competitors registered in these events will receive free access to an intuitive online training program, Marathon Guru developed by Lee Troop.
